A complete guide of drying clothes for helpers

When Filipino maids and Indonesian maids are responsible for drying clothes, they often encounter different problems, such as:

1. Clothes are difficult to dry in winter and wet weather.

2. Those heavy clothes, pockets, hats of hoodies, underarms and other parts of the clothes were not dry, so couldn't take off the hangers, so have to hang them indoors.

3. A pile of white snowflakes appeared during laundry because the tissue in the trousers pocket was not taken out.

4. Do not understand that different colors and dark and light clothes should not be hung together.

5. Clothes are loose, swaying, and often fall to the ground.

In fact, before understanding how to dry clothes, Sunlight Employment Agency recommends that helpers spend some time for understanding the principle of drying clothes. They are expected to greatly improve the drying effect through life experience and tips after acknowledged!

The principle of drying clothes

When the humidity of the air around the clothes drops and becomes dry, the moisture in the clothes will evaporate, forming a water vapor layer on the surface. When the wind blows, the vapor layer will be dissipated and the surface will be dried, so that the moisture in the clothes will continue to run away. to the surface and repeat the drying process until the garment is completely dry.

Factors that increase drying speed

1. Air circulation: Air must be circulated to expand the area of clothing in contact with the air. (For example, when hanging wet clothes on a hanger to dry, the hem should be staggered; trousers should be turned over to speed up the drying of the pockets.)

2. Clothes overlapping rate: Avoid overlapping clothes when drying (clothes that will overlap must be spread out to dry quickly.)

3. Quantity of clothes drying: drying too many clothes will cause poor ventilation and make clothes difficult to dry.

4. Thickness of clothes: Thicker clothes, such as windproof coats and thicker jackets, take longer to dry than thinner clothes.

Clothes Drying Tips

1. The interval between the clothes should be large enough. The length of the clothes should not be the same. The lengths must be staggered, and the ventilation area will be increased, and the drying speed will be faster.

2. When drying socks, clip the clip to the elastic band, so that the socks can be worn longer.

3. Discharge the laundry in an arched shape. (Hang longer garments outside and shorter underwear in the middle.)

4. Dry your clothes in a well-ventilated hallway or living room, and open the windows to allow air ventilation and convection to speed up the drying of the clothes.

5. Some dark clothes are easy to fade after sun exposure. If you dry clothes in the sun, you can turn them inside out.

6. If you choose to dry clothes in the bathroom, you can put moisture-absorbing newspapers in the bathroom to increase the evaporation rate.

We sincerely hope the above experience can improve the efficiency of helpers when drying clothes at home!
