Pork Lorn with Lotus Root and Kudzu Soup

Ingredient

    8 taels lotus root

    8 taels kudzu

    16 taels port lorn

    8 pieces mushroom

    1/2 lb chestnut

    1 tael dried red dates

    2 pieces ginger

    4 taels water chestnut

    35L water

    
Method

    Peel the skin of lotus root and kudzu. Cut into pieces. Rinse the mushroom and soak in cold water. Remove the shell and skin of chestnut. Remove the seed of dried red dates. Peel the skin of water chestnut.

    Rinse the port lorn. Boil in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove.

    Put all the above ingredients into boiling water. And add ginger. Then, boil it in high heat for 30 minutes. Then turn to low heat for 2 hours.

    Add salt to taste. Take out the lotus root and cut into pieces to serve.
