Chicken Soup with American Ginseng and Cordyesp

Ingredient

1 lean chicken
3 maces American ginseng slices (12g)
3 maces cordysep (12g)
1 tael barley (40g)
1 tael To Fook Lin (40g)
12 bowls water

Method

Wash chicken and scald in boiling water. Rinse with water. Sliced American ginseng and wash it.
Wash cordyseps and barley. Soak them with chicken and American ginseng in water till soft. Pour them into boiling water and simmer over low heat for 3 hours. Add To Fook Lin and boil for another 30 minutes. Add salt. Serve.
